Also Slovak soldiers took part in "Lapanka". Those caught were firstly taken to the yard in prison and on the next day to Czarny Las situated 5 km from Chortkiv for an execution. [...] After the liberation the still living Jews from Chortkiv exhumed the bodies in the presence of Soviet authorities and placed a memory board. |
