העדות המלאה First bigger action of "Judenvernichtungskommando" in the vicinity of Krakow was a murder of 140 Jews in a forest in Tyniec on 8 July 1942. The victims were taken from families, which on that day were out of the Krakow ghetto on the basis of the Krakow's Kreishauptman's, named Schneider, disposition allowing Jews with assigned duties to stay in a given town. About 50 families from Liszki, Czernichów, Krzeszowice, Tenczyn and Nowa Góra collective municipalities belonging to Landkomsariat Kressendorf [Krzeszowice], [...] Sixteen carts - 16 families managed to drive off when an order came to stop everyone and immediately after that two trucks with Sonderdienst [Special Services] platoon arrived. This platoon was responsible for selection. The old, sick and grey-haired (regardless of age) were taken from each cart. 140 people altogether. Gradually, they were transported to a forest in Tyniec village, about 4km on the way back towards the Vistula River. Then, they were unloaded at the edge of the forest and herded 30m into the woods towards the graves, repaired two weeks before by local constriction workers. 15 people from the Sonderdienst platoon conducted the execution. Drunk and, judging by their dilated pupils, drugged, they were shooting with revolvers. The construction workers were covering the layers of dead bodies and injured people with lime. Three layers of bodies were in each grave.
