Full Testimony On 7 May 1942 the Belarusian militia men from Minsk vicinity surround the town. They were strangers. For 3 days they did nothing; they only gathered everyone in a small street. 80 men were captured and ordered to dig pits 2 km away from the town, near a Jewish cemetery. (I hid in a dumpster with my uncle). Suddenly, one of them shouted "hurrah!", hit the German in the head with a shovel and injured him. The Jews started running away into the woods. The Germans began running to the town and when they realized the Jews are escaping, started shooting at them and 5 people died.
