Full Testimony [July 1942] In July, Germans took all the Jews from the ghetto [...] When the Jews got to the camps, which they themselves had built a few months earlier, the Ukrainian and the German police surrounded the camp and it became impossible to escape. Even from a distance the Jews could see people digging graves, it was 150 m away from the camp. [...] 2,500 people were herded into 2 barracks [...] selected Jews were told by the Germans to lie in the grave, face down. Another, identical grave was 10 m away. There, the Jews were ordered to undress and leave everything they had. Those naked people had been appallingly beaten and later rushed towards the previously dug pits. 100 Gypsies were among the victims and they were executed first, then the Jews.
