Full Testimony In July 1943 [...] while driving home at 4 p.m. I noticed a ditch. It was 6 m wide, 3 m long and over 2 m deep. [...] It was parallel to the road I was driving on, and located about 50 m from it [...] About a week later I saw another, freshly dug grave, 3 m away from the previous one of the same dimensions. [...] I remember 10-12 Jews digging the third grave on 14 July 1943. [...] On the next day, 15 July 1943, while going out I heard shots in Bacieczkowski Forest. [...] When coming home from work, me and my friends went to see the fresh grave. The ground was even and the ditch was filled with a layer of dirt. [...] More or less in every other week, on Holy Friday and on Saturday, we would see 4th, 5th and 6th ditch. [...] Rumours in Bacieczki and surrounding villages had it that the Kawecki's family: father, mother and two children, were killed there.
