Full Testimony During the final days of 1941, the Germans ordered the Jews to surrender all furs and, in order to frighten the Jewish community in the county, they chose about 10 young people from the most prominent families in Żelechów and executed them in the market square. They were buried there and for several months their blood was getting out, causing general horror.
