Full Testimony In connection with the publication of the exchange of opinions between Prof. Dr. Hanna Szukiewicz and Zygmunt Kaczyński regarding the condition of the graves of the Warsaw Defenders who fell in September 1939 ("Polityka" magazine, no. 34/755 from 21 August), I wrote a letter to the editor of "Polityka", in which I raised the matter of the condition of the graves of the fallen Warsaw Defenders, located in the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw at Okopowa Street. (...) Prof. Hanna Szukiewicz replied to my letter and in her response she discusses the issue about "bringing back memory" of the Warsaw Defenders buried in the Jewish cemetery in Bródno. This cemetery was liquidated during the occupation and trees were planted there.
